Squirrels earn badges and awards by joining in with activities in their meetings. Badges at Squirrels aren’t about achievement – they’re about taking part and trying new things.

Staged activity badges
Staged badges are common to all sections – Squirrels might achieve level one of some staged activity badges.
Challenge Awards
The Squirrels gradually work towards Challenge Awards in the weekly meetings, and over time will have the chance to get all four.
Once you’ve got all four Challenge Awards and any two activity badges, you will be awarded the Chief Scout’s Acorn Award – the highest award a Squirrel can earn.
